      Firefox 24 available on Android

Mozilla released the much awaited Firefox 24 recently, part of their immensely popular and famous series of Firefox browsers. The new browser functions both on all Android mobile operating systems powered devices, and desktop systems. As tradition goes, this is a much anticipated upgrade, and which definitely ushers in some exciting new changes.

Support for WebRTC is probably one of the most defining features. WebRTC is actually a protocol used for real-time communication between browsers. It is usually used for applications like voice calling, video chatting and file sharing, without having to add any plug-in. This action can be performed only between other web browsers that support WebRTC, like Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox for Windows, Linux and Mac computers. This WebRTC support enables a wider use of web apps, and allows video calling between mobile phones and desktops.

Other great features include the night mode which is implemented in the Reader to enable users with a better reading experience. This module leaves out elements of the website, and lets you view the contents alone. Firefox also has a revolutionary sharing method. Just tap on the device’s menu icon to open the Firefox main menu, from where you can share as many apps, content, and web pages as you like. A quick Share pop-up also appears along with other icons, for your most preferred way of sharing.

If your device supports NFC, then Firefox enables easy sharing of websites, between other devices that also share NFC. Many vulnerabilities relating to memory management have also been fixed in this version.

With regards to the desktop Firefox 24 has a few system requirements to function properly:
